Homes of Expertise: Procedures and Work Mechanism

Mechanism of Constructing Private Expertise Office

 Faculty member completes an application form for establishing private expertise office in accordance with the form for that purpose.  

The management of Homes of Expertise notifies faculty member with the ruslt of the evaluation of the application, whether approved or not.

  If approved, the required contract will be signed .     

 

 

Conditions and Terms for the establishing Specialized Expertise Office

The president and members of the Expertise Office must be Saudi faculty members of the university and who are on-the-job.

The head of the Expertise Office must have experience or training in the areas of work of Expertise Office to be established.   

The management of Expertise Office must be a party and a reference for Expertise Office in all contracts with the beneficiary bodies.  

 University receives a percentage of the value of each contract signed with Office to be determined by management in accordance with the type, size of the contract and the expertise of the Office as will as each proportion will be determined for each project alone.

Expertise Office is committed to the implementation of the tasks contracted with beneficiary bodies with high quality worth of the reputation of the University and in accordance with the Plan of Action and the dates agreed upon.   

Management of Homes of Expertise has the right to make sure of that the       Expertise Offices are implementing the contracted projects with beneficiaries with high quality at any time in the life of the project.    

 Management of Homes of Expertise has the right to assign the contract with the beneficiary and to assign it another Expertise Office in the event that the Office  does not implement the contract terms or tasks and the consequently recovering the amounts paid to the Expertise Office from the beneficiary body or side.

All correspondence must be direct between the Expertise Office and Management of Homes of Expertise.        

 

Home Affairs at the Expertise Office such as determining the budget of the project, obligations and tasks of members and their rewards all these  of the  members responsibility and Homes of Expertise Management given copies of all internal agreements and there should be an identification for the name of office manager and the mechanism for partners dealing according to the form prepared for that.      

Homes of Expertise Management performs the  evaluation of the performance of the Expertise Office annually to consider the possibility of the renewal of the contract or not.

Expertise Office shall adhere to benefit of university facilities due to the organized mechanisms for that and it has the right to consult another party to perform the tasks of the signed contracts with beneficiary parties after coordination with Homes of Expertise.     

 

 Expertise Office has the right to market its activities whether by itself or by getting help from outside body or party and that should be with the commitment with organized regulations also it can market its activities through Homes of Expertise and the Office pays for this service and this to be agreed upon.        

 

Homes of Expertise contribute in general marketing for Expertise Offices.        

In case that that Expertise Office gets a help from university facilities like devices or halls that should be in coordination with Homes of Expertise Management and the office pays for that.

Expertise Office shall adhere to employ and train students at Expertise Offices.     

Expertise Office should maintain the standard of the profession, confidentiality of  data and information as well as not tell any other party except taking the approval of the beneficiary body or party.
